Our Story

Hikma Foundation Kenya, hereafter referred to as ‘Hikma’, is a Non-Governmental Organization incorporated in Nairobi – Kenya in April 2020 under SECTION 10 of the NGOs Coordination Act. We currently operate in all the 47 counties of Kenya. We have special bias for the very arid, arid and semi-arid zones whose inhabitants face the harsh climate change disasters of cyclic drought, floods and high temperatures. The socioeconomic ramifications for these include; low fuelwood biomass, famine, as well high illiteracy and poverty indices.

The organization is committed to working with communities to address their needs and create sustainable change.
